Sign up to volunteer; schedule orientation and training.

Provide administrative support for staff.

Be on the Board of Directors
Contribute your professional expertise to a nonprofit organization during monthly meetings.

Be an Advisory Board member
Advise the staff and board without a meeting commitment.

Be a special projects assistant
Share your knowledge and talents in a specific area with no meeting commitment.

Be a friend of literacy
Make a difference in America’s future by funding efforts to promote adult literacy.

Be a Reader for the Family Literacy program
Share your favorite children’s book with the children of Fremont Street or Winchester Day Nursery.

Be a Computer Literacy Volunteer
Assist teacher in the computer lab during the six-week introductory computer class.

Be a Financial Literacy Volunteer
Assist teacher in the conference room during the four-session financial literacy workshops.

Be a supporter of the Adult Spelling Bee or other fundraising efforts.
